As many of you guys know, I have formatted my computer many-a-times.
Now, I go into iTunes today, purchase a song, and it says my computer is not authorized to play it, click this button to authorize. "OK" I say, I get this nice little message.

"You have reached the limit of authorizations for your iTunes account." T_T
All of the computers I have authorized are OLD, not even around anymore, already formatted.

Is there a way I can dump the authorization list, and only have this current computer authorized?

Do I have to authorize things for iTunes Plus? (So if I upgrade to iTunes plus, I don't have to worry about authorizations?)
Before you reformat, you should deauthorize the computer. Otherwise iTunes has no idea that that authorization is no longer in use. They also allow you to deauthorize all of your computers at once.

I see where it shows how MANY of them are authorized, but i don't see a button to deauthorize them all...

It only shows the "Deauthorize All" if it thinks you have 5 computers authorized. Obviously something is screwed up. Either try to deauthorize your computer (Store -> Deauthorize Computer) then reauthorize it, or email them here: http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/store/authorization/
