VMWare with iPod

How can I get my VMWare (windows XP) session to recognize my ipod? I have it mounted, but it's not showing up under VM > REMOVABLE DEVICES > USB!!

It's unlikely to work. There are some pretty good iPod programs for Ubuntu, I suggest checking them out.

Right; but I need the iTunes store.
Oh well; I can always figure out samba and just transfer my iTunes purchased into Linux :)

I'd much rather use iTunes.
