The Tennis anime was originally only shown on their website, with a few other animes that you could only view online. They obviously got enough support for it to warrant it being on the air.

Actually if you read my post on the forums about Ed, Edd and Eddy, it isn't over yet. There is going to be a new aired episode during May 11th and the 6th season has yet to be aired. The 6th season is supposed to be the last.

Reboot, The New Adventures of Johnny Quest, and yeah... That's about it. Classic Toonami kicked ass.

CN probably won't be the same without the classic array of shows. Ofcourse, thats normal, but I mean people-who-watch-it-wise.

Best toonami line up ever:
(Kudo's to who remembers this) 4:00 (Sailor Moon) 4:30 PM (Card Captors) 5:00 PM (Yu Yu Hakusho) 5:30 PM (Dragon Ball) 6:00 PM (Dragon Ball Z) 6:30 PM (Dragon Ball Z) |

O my gosh. I just saw this posting, Toonami used to be a huge thing with my brother and a couple of my best friends. Every day after highschool we'd walk to my house and watch DBZ and Gundam Wing. That was in the glory days of Toonami, before that little blue bastard went to Trimspa and got a six pack of abs.
Toonami was in many ways a much better put together package than adult swim is (concerning animeesque shows at least). Boy I miss those days. |
