what icon making program do that game creators use

i am making a game and just wanted to know where people get these icons from and what program they used to draw them.

I'm assuming most would just use the built in icon part of Dream Seeker..

I use DreamMaker, Photoshop(mainly recolors), and Fireworks for the little amount of iconing I do. As for premade sprites, search for "spriters resource" in google
