Didn't you just ask this on your blog? Don't get Vista if you're already running a perfectly good copy of XP. I'm using Vista right now and I can tell you it certainly wasn't worth all the money I dumped into it.

If you're planning on playing games on Vista, then don't bother getting it for a while. nVidia GPU Drivers for Vista are poor and games really don't play on Vista too well (http://www.techpowerup.com/?25437). Wait until nVidia releases some real drivers for Vista. ATI Drivers seem to work fine though... :D

No, a Wharf has absolutely nothing to do with a Dock. Why do you ask?

LiteStep has always had the concept of a wharf. Unfortunately it doesn't really go through development anymore, and it never really it its stride since creating themes was so difficult. I don't think it's very compatible with XP.

I actually really enjoy using Vista. If my laptop could handle it fully, Vista would be back there in a flash.
