How dare you insult Kirby... He used to be the main character that I played with but I've recently switched to Luigi because he doesn't fly as far when getting hit.

Lag shouldn't be bad, there is almost no lag at all on any of the DS games even when 8 people are playing. But of course it does have much more demanding graphics so it is possible but I wouldn't think it would lag unless you have a 56k modem

Kirby is really nerfed in Melee. It's quite sad, really.
Kirby, the graphics wouldn't influence it - it's the amount of data that needs to get sent back and forth, which is just positions and so forth. But from my house to any website generally takes about a tenth of a second. A round trip could take .2 of a second. That's not much, but it's noticeable. Keep in mind, I live in Australia. That means longer travel times to American stuff. Plus, I've only got a 128 Kb connection. |

I'm fairly good at Marth. I can finish Event Match 51 with him. Event Match 51 is mostly about getting rid of Mechabowser, though. :p Once he's out of the way, Ganon and Mewtwo are a pushover. (Kirby was horribly broken in SSB. This should be recognised. Down+A in air for the KILL) Yeah, he was far too powerful in SSB, especially his throws. My brother played as him on SSB, but stopped on SSBM because his power was stripped away- which isn't a bad thing. I guess as a reaction to his power in SSB they took too much strength away from him in SSBM, but then again it's Kirby. Kirby. |

Ah Kirby, the pink ball that sucks :P
Am I the only one who gets a weird sense of perversion from that statement? >_> I wonder how they even came up with an idea of having a PINK thing SUCK stuff as their main source of power... must've been an old Japanese man :P - GhostAnime |

All you need to know is how to counter >_>
Marth, Roy, Fox and Falco counter real nicely. If you play with items it is so boring >_> I use roy as my character...i hope they add him in brawl. |

Honestly I find it more boring if I play for too long without items. They're part of the game, and some characters handle items a bit differently than others so unless you're using hardcore tournament rules, the gameplay feels less frantic to me to enjoy for long. :/

Amen. Items are just as important to the gameplay and your strategy as your attacks are! Nothing like a fan or bat to throw, or an awesome Samus spin ball thing. :D

Mewtwo + Beamsword = Fun
Of course, it's always annoying when a barrel appears right on top of you. I swear, the RNG is out to get me. |

Does the Wii have any plans for online multiplayer games, similar to XBOX Live? Super Smash Bros. Brawl as already been confirmed for online play. Nintendo wasn't finished, so Online play wont come out until early 2007 I mostly use Bowser(especially on noobs, slow but a power hitter), Fox(mainly cuz of his speed and the fact I 9 times out of 10 can get back on the level with him), and Link(love the fact that if you keep pushing A his sword goes crazy, especially when you have turbo on :D) |

Well actually he wasn't meant to be the character for the game, he was a placeholder during development but the creator liked him better than the real character that they kept him
as far as I know he still would have sucked things in though |

They wern't going to include Kirby in Super Smash Bros Wii? |

No, in the original Kirby game(Kirbys' Dreamland?), the pink ball known as Kirby wasn't planned to become the actual kirby
