Sorry for the confusion, even though the others have explained it, I shall anyways.
I was talking about when Hal Labratories was in the process of making Kirby Adventure for the NES, The kirby we know today was just a white blob with shoes. He was only there to test the how the game functions and if there were any "bugs". The creator of the Kirby games liked the filler so much that he kept him, he also wanted him pink, although Shigeru Miyamoto(Mario, Donkey Kong, Link etc....) wanted to make him yellow. Kirby was also rumored to have been named after Nintendo's Lawyer that fought for them in the lawsuit over Donkey Kong, I think his name was "Something" Kirby.
Well thats a wrap up of what I obviously didn't explain very well.
