Here are some nerdy jokes that I either found or made up on the spot. If it's bad, I made it up, if it's good, I found it somewhere.
#1
Q. How many C++ programmers does it take to change a light bulb?
A. You're still thinking procedurally. A properly designed light bulb object would inherit a change method from a generic light bulb class, so all you'd have to do is send a light bulb change message

Q. How many people does it take to change an object-oriented light bulb?
A. Change it? Aw shucks, I was going to reuse it.
(Also taken from here)
#3
Q. How many C++ programmers does it take to "put the sun out" (like with water)?
A. ...Do you really think we're that stupid? You need to give us more credit.
I ran out. Try to pick out which one I made up myself. First one to respond with the correct answer in number-of-joke form wins a really cool prize!

I'm gonna guess the one without the link: Number 3 :p

You're both wrong! The link is misleading. You'll find the first two on that page, but I made #1! They stole it from me. #3 is from an unknown source. /look-left /look-right

C++ combines the power of ASM with the readability and ease of use of ASM. _>. If you ever say 'readability' and 'ease of use' in the same sentence with 'ASM' again, even if it's a joke, I will stab joo! >_>. Oh, and to everyone else: I tricked you, but DarkCampainger got it right. It was #3. >_> Your prize is a: "WHOOT!" |
