Server Downtime Polls and whatnot results.

Will they be saved? There was a short downtime the other day that left us with this poll:http://dbeta.com/pictures/screenshots/byondcheese.png

And today the downtime message asked us to write a love letter.

I want to know what is happening to my answer. Does it just disapear, or do you guys really see it?

Heh, I definitely wrote one of the strangest love letters to Lummox EVER, and signed it Mertek. I'm certain if they are seeing them, we'll all know once Lummox reads one...

Let's just say, I "longed to see him once more, slathered in crisco, massaging himself with a warm frying pan"... Definitely also wrote something about how "I was a bad boy, and my perky pink hiny needed a spanking that only he could deliver."...

I think I'm going to go take a shower and get some sleep. Three days without sleeping is FAR too long, as that "love letter" illustrates...

There was another one today, it asked if we would give BYOND a piece of pie. I still would be very interested in the results.

But when you click on the submit button it goes to a page saying that our answer has been recorded. It would be quite evil of them to claim that then not actually record it.

There is a PNG version with just as much quality, but 1/41 the filesize. NO USE BMP. I am gussing by the form controls that you have windows XP. MSPaint for XP has the ability to save as PNGs. Thanks for showing a screenshot though.

Yeh, unfortunately I have just a paint file which saves only in BMP at work... no PNG >_> ... even MS Paint won't work for some reason o_O

Why does everyone pick on Mertek? Half the sexual-oriented quotes on BYOND bash mention Mertek, and a lot of those that aren't sexual-oriented have Mertek. In these quotes, he's always the joke.

I have a lot of reasons...

Mostly because I spent the better part of four months talking to him in chatters for about three to five hours a night, every night.

Believe me, the filth that rolls out of about that boy's mind is nothing short of impressive. There were some things that made me want to cringe, and I dated a bunch of Catholic girls at one point... Found one of my Exes on the internet the other day... And not in a chatroom either... (She started doing videos before she dated me... I knew she was cheating, but... Not doing porn behind my back...) Eeew...

Whatever the case, he's someone I'd call an old friend, and a good-natured ribbing is never a bad thing in my eyes.

That can easily be done with any server generated page. ALL it takes is a CGI/PHP/ASP/JSP implementation and you can read form data.

Hell, you could do it with Jscript if you wanted... Even though Jscript is all client-side.

Therefore BYOND is evil... and we hope they don't grow more powerful and eviler by absorbing our anger and anguish.


I wouldn't be surprised if the colour style for BYOND would go red :P
