While I was playing a game, somebody so happened to say it..According to a couple articles, he got stung by a sting ray in the heart. I'm pretty surprised that he's dead, especially from an animal attack, but he was a cool guy.

Nobody in Australia liked him, pretty much. NOBODY. I mean, what a bloody poster child for Australia - a massively stereotypical idiot.
I mean, he wasn't a bad person, but he just never thought. Honestly, I think I prefer the Wiggles as a poster child. |

Oh yes, he is a sissy. A man who would risk his life all the time, braving going up to crocodiles and what have you. I'd like to see you do what he did. >:|

From one Australian, I will miss him dearly. Sure, he may not have been the smartest man alive, but he had to have been doing something right somewhere to make such a big thing out of himself.
He was a fun person, you could always see he was enjoying himself and I'm so happy that I at least was able to share it for the time I did. I think he was an excellent poster child for Australia: a fool who enjoyed himself no matter what, who was sincere but entertaining, who was always serious about serious things and a fighter for those who couldn't protect themselves. You could bag him out for being sterotypical, but that's what he was. That's what he always had been. As I see it you always have to be yourself. Today we lost a legend, and let's not forget so did two children and a wife. I don't know about you guys but I think it's a terrible shame. R.I.P Steve Irwin - GunRunner |

Wow. Ben G, Mertek-- whichever one you are. Thats real nice of you to make fun of the dead, just because he said, "Mate," and whatnot. Real mature, as well.

Yea. But having a dangerous life like his. I think he'd've been a bit more careful. =\ 'Rays are about as harmless as a marshmellow, usually.

This is pretty weak. I liked his shows and learned a lot from him. He was a good man, one that spent money out of his own pocket to protect the wildlife.
I think it's rather rude how some people are saying "It's about time" or "It was bound to happen." Well no [stuff], everyone will eventually kick the bucket. But it's not how long you live, it's what you do with the time you're given. This man lived more in one afternoon than most of us do in our entire lifetime. It's just sad to see him die like this. I'll miss him. |

Nobody who did what he did deserves to die. He built up the Australian Zoo, he educated millions of kids about animals on his show, and was a vocal conservatist.
Tell me what you've done. |

This thread has shown how foolish some of you truely are when it boils down to it. The man didn't deserve to die. He atleast did die doing what he loved. |
