I had the same router a while ago, it took me ages to set it up and when I did get a connection it was very poor. So rather than spend ages trying to get it I got rid of it.
Yeah, I doubt that will solve your problem, but I didn't really find the help manual any good. |
I have a linksys router and its a WRT54GS when i had it the usr and pass was this.
usrname=<blank> password=admin Make sure you don't have caplock on its kinda case sensitive. |
it dont ask for a usr name XD it just says password and a box to input your pass and under that it says ok (link to confirm pass )
|
Try it with both the username and password as 'admin'. If it's none of the 'admin' combinations somebody changed the username/password and you need to find out the new one.

which brings me to the problem lol when i type admin within the box nothing happens..>.> it just sits there nothing comes up it just sits there XD

Have you tried a blank password?
What about "password"? Some other guesses: Admin ADMIN Password linksys Linksys You can probably think of more. Failing that, contact Linksys' customer support. They should have a support department. |

Go to your router, find the reset button, and hold it in for a few seconds. Then try connecting to 192.168.1.1 with password "admin". |
