How can people say Bush is so dumb, and they say he organized and help execute a huge conspiracy?

Maybe because he did such a bad job of a coverup of the conspiracy?

And how is Fox news 1/2 of all televised news media? They're beating the networks handily, but I don't think they beat all of them combined. Note: "That I've seen." Naturally (and thankfully) my exposure to US media is limited. That's why I didn't phrase it as a statement of fact. We won't ever come to a consensus on this one. Very true. Fox only looks Pro-Bush because of what it's compared to. (CBS, NBC, ABC, MSNBC, CNN, etc) Gonna have to disagree with you there. I've seen clips of Fox News that are clearly deliberately biased heavily towards the right. If I could remember where I saw them then I'd point them out, but it was a while ago. |

If you do find an example, please, let me see. Remember, I can give you one example of TV media being terribly biased againsed Bush intentionally (CBS, Dan Rather) and probably a dozen printed-word instances of the same from major magazines and newspapers (Original Newsweek Guantanimo story, half the facts used in Editorials at the New York Times [off-topic: the new Times slogan - "All the treason that's fit to print... and then some!"], etc, etc, etc).

Also, did you know that while the building was blowing up, people were saying they could here bombs going off, or what sounded like bombs, before the plan even hit, and while the plan hit, and even after it? I think the fact that people claim to have heard explosions before the planes hit actually explains why people claimed to have heard explosions afterwards. People have just gone 'well, I think I heard a bang, it must have been explosions in the building'. That sort of thing happens a lot when police question whitnesses. The whitness wants to be helpful and remembers things that didn't happen (or happened differently) because they subconciously filled in vague memories with outside influences. At the end of the day though what's easier to believe, the American Government staged and covered-up a truely massive terrorist act that would instantly become a major part of American history yet they were stupid enough to set off bombs (which everyone would hear, not just some) before the planes even hit, or that some people got confused. If the government did do this, no one in their right mind would have gone along with it unless it was absolutely 150% fool-proof. There wouldn't be any of this 'evidence'. Money can go a long way. I bet a few million dollars will make these guys pro-Bush. Money doesn't go that far. Given the choice between being financially made for life and living forever in the history books for doing the right thing I'd say the majority of people would choose the second option (especially seeing as most people who would be in the position to expose this would be in a pretty sweet position financially already and/or smart enough to figure out they'll make a lot of money from selling their story). The only thing I'd see stopping someone from exposing this is the backlash it would have on the country, but even then I'm sure someone would have exposed it before it happened. |
