We may never know... but it's a likely scenario that those "booms" people think they heard were either construction in the city that day or possibly even a result of the traumatic situation those people were thrust into playing tricks on their memories.

We can, however, be fairly sure that thoose weren't bombs.

I'm interested in what happened at the Pentagon... Didn't seem like a plane wreck. I'd give nearly anything to learn the answers to all the government conspiracies over the years: Roswell, etc.

If that doesn't make you belive that a plane crashed into the Pentagon than I don't know what will.
Screw government.

Anyone want to form our own nation? Reminds me of that one Family Guy episode ^^

We could take some land in Canada, perhaps. Only resistance we'd face, I imagine, are the fur-trappers.

How to fight fur-trappers....

We will first go to the glaciers and recruit penguins. We must choose only brave ones since they will be strapped with dynamite and will woddle over to them.

I can make the same point about how fame and fortune is essentially promised by the "mainstream" media to anyone who denounces Bush publicly.

That's funny, because at least half of the US media that I've seen has been decidedly pro-Bush. Fox News anyone?

But then I guess your political viewpoint is so extreme-right that what looks "left-wing" to you looks "right-wing" to me. =P
I hope you are just being sarcastic. It is hard to tell on the Internet, but surely you jest.
Well, the right wing conspiracy nuts theorized that Clinton and the CIA was somehow behind Oklahoma City (to pass antigun laws IIRC). I guess it's not terribly surprising that some hairbrained theory like this would spring up.
I pretty much thought this topic would die by now because of the "proof" posted disclaiming the conspiracy. Really I don't outright think its true, but possible and coincidental rather than impossible in any shape or form.

You're really not watching enough US Media then (Which is a good thing!). Fox News is the ONLY station that is pro-bush. Everyone else bashes him 24/7. CNN, MSNBC, etc etc.

My dad worked for several networks for different shows,
such as Meet the Press, and a few other anchor bigwigs as a camera/lighting/audio guy. He says that most of the anchors tend to be liberal, derisive off camera, and incredibly vain.

To back this up here's some statistics, though I think this website might be conservative (first time I've come across it).

What's a kangoroo?

I know - it must be a race of aliens! The aliens did it! You can't hide the truth forever!

Mohamed Atta al-Sayed from Egypt

How very intelligent of you, Crispy! :-)

Yeah, but he's not a "kangoroo". Unless he's one in disguise! Yeah, that must be it!

Clearly the kangoroos are disguising themselves as humans and commiting acts of terrorism in order to destabilise the Earth. When we've all nuked each other to bits they'll just have to come and pick up the pieces!!! THEY WANT TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD!! NOBODY IS SAFE!!!!!! AHHHHH!!!!!11!!!

... Never mind that seeing as these aliens have interstellar travel they could just blast us with a death ray and be done with it ...

It's just like War of the World, we're all going to die!

Fox only looks Pro-Bush because of what it's compared to. (CBS, NBC, ABC, MSNBC, CNN, etc)

And how is Fox news 1/2 of all televised news media? They're beating the networks handily, but I don't think they beat all of them combined.

But then I guess your political viewpoint is so extreme-right that what looks "left-wing" to you looks "right-wing" to me. =P

Ahh, the phenomenon of parrelax. We won't ever come to a consensus on this one. You want unbiased? Ask a computer. All news media has bias, because it's done by human beings. That I could accept. What makes Fox different from the older networks is that their bias isn't deliberate. Fox will present the stories that help the President. Fox will present the stories that hurt the President. What Fox won't do is present fabricated stories made up to hurt (or help, for that matter) the President, at least not willingly. We can't say that of any of the "mainstream" media. If they think they might be able to get away with it, they'd run it in a heartbeat.
