Yeah, a sushi chef maybe... but some of those hibachi guys are like samurais swingin' their knives and little pointy forks around. I think they could take a kangaroo. |

Evidently you have not seen a male red kangaroo up close and personal. They look cute and furry from a distance, but then you start getting closer and you notice the sheer muscular power in their legs and hips, and the way they're carefully positioning themselves between you and the rest of the mob, and that evil little glint in their eyes... Mister hibachi would get a kangaroo foot to the stomach before he could even think about swinging his pointy little forks around. |

Zelda....That is all that needs to be said really, but for Nintendo's sake I will name a few more. Metroid, Mario, Sonic(now that they own Sega), Donkey Kong. There are so many. They have huge history with Squaresoft/Enix, which is a favorite company of Japan and America both, so don't be surpirsed if we see more titles from them. Nintendo has some of the best titles, no doubt. If it were to need to rely on a single game to get it through like the original Xbox did then either Zelda could do it, or I'm sure they will come up with another Super Smash Brothers title(keep in mind the last one stay on top of the charts for a full year after the Gamecube debuted). Now, I have an Xbox 360(and I don't care much for Halo) myself and it's awesome but Nintendo has been in the gaming industry alot longer and has substantialy larger reputation. The only thing that I can forsee that will hurt the Wii is it's controls. The controls look horrible so I pray to god they will change it. I'm just gonna leave it at this: They are both respectable companies. Let the ratings talk.

Ha, the controllers are the most exciting part of the Wii! I can't wait to play Metroid Prime 3 using those - it's going to be amazingly awesome.
Plus, where have you been? There are trailers for Super Smash Bros.: Brawl out for a while, now. |

I haven't followed the new titles in depth lately, but I'm sure they will be good. Nintendo always had and will have the greatest titles.

Agreed... The controller will be the best aspect of the Wii!
And SSB:Brawl will be the second best! |

Donkey Kong. I thought Nintendo sold Rare. Did they keep the rights the Donkey Kong? I can't wait to try out the new controllers on Zelda either, but I'm wondering how they'll be in SSB:B. |

Yeah, although it seems like a gimmick, it sure is a cool gimick :) I want to play something like Zelda with that controller.

I am an occasional XBox user(An XBox owner at least) and I don't care for Halo. I find it to be a rather boring FPS with a bad pace and uninteresting levels.
I own Halo and rentripped Halo 2. Both games are about the same. "Dual wielding" I hear the fans saying as to why Halo 2 is better than Halo. I really don't think that is so special. Short of more story, the second Halo is nothing more than an expansion pack to the first. The gameplay did not change, online play is almost identical, and very little is added to the game. People rant and rave about the story line, but as far as I can tell, there isn't much of one. This is fine to me, I want to kill things, not hear some people yammering on and on, but it is not major part of Halo. If you want a FPS with a good story that doesn't slow down the run-n-gun fun, try Call of Duty(FOR THE PC). You get some basic points to hit while actually achieving a goal of winning a war, most of the story happens in real time, meaning that you are moving around, firing at enemies, and running for your life while you are being briefed on the current situation. The online play is tops, I have yet to play a game that compares in the close range combat style of gameplay. That is just my opinion, of course, but I have played almost every FPS out on the market, and own about half of the major titles. Out of all of them, Halo and Halo 2 fail in comparison to most of the others in almost every way. I will grant you that most FPSs have opted out of a story, so Halo is one of the few that still have it. Outside of the story mode, Halo just doesn't have much on games like Unreal Tournament 2003(I own), Battlefield 2(I own), Quake, Counter Strike:Source(I own), CoD 1 & 2(I own both) and the many other games of that type. I will admit that I have yet to play Quake 4, so I cannot fully judge its current strength compared to Halo, but the older versions where strong. |

You say you've played most. Have you played FEAR? I heard it was good, and I want to try it...looks alot more interesting than Halo. I play Halo, and I don't see whats so special about it. Its all the same as any other FPS for me.

Nintendo has always owned the rights to Donkey Kong, they did make the original game. They let Rare use it as long as Rare was making games for them, now that they're not they lost the rights to Donkey Kong (and the 007 games).

FEAR wasn't bad, but it really didn't hold strong in the multi-player aspects. It didn't have the mod support that Half-Life 2 has, so you really missed out on the goodness of the physics. I heard the storyline was good, but I didn't get past the first few missions before getting bored. The graphics where good but too demanding. My x800xt struggled more than it should have considering it does way better with the Source and Quake 4 engines and looks far better doing it. My brother owns the game, and didn't play it for more than a month, because it didn't have any online value.

Quake 4 is getting better. The biggest problem is the online support, which is getting better...hopefully the next patch will fix up any remaining problems. The online play is pretty much like the other ones, new levels ect. A lot of importing of Quake 3 levels and what not. It's pretty much Quake 3 with better graphics and real single player.(I have yet to play CTF which I hear has more power ups and what not, when I got the game it was having problems with lag, it lagged on any server if there more than say 6 or 7 players...I belive they might have fixed it.)

The PS3 is unlikely to be massively more powerful then the Wii or Xbox 360. And, as you should know, and probably do, measuring 'power' is significantly harder then comparing processor clock speeds.

I've never met an Xbox user who doesn't like Halo, but that's just me. I love Halo. It's a good multiplayer game, and while you do get tired of it after a while as it starts to get repetitive, a lot of games do. Just take some time off and you'll end up playing it again some day. Unless you can't, that is.
