The Lotto is nothing but luck. Buying huge ammounts of lotto tickets is going to do nothing but make you even more poor, sooner.

I just buy a ticket here and there once and awhile and once and awhile I luck out.

I have won $150.00, $80.00 and $25.00 on lotto tickets.

Actully your best bet would be like horse races if you wanted to beat the system.

Anyways, I think someone asked how much BYOND was worth one time and how much they would sell it for and I believe they said it would have to be an ammount that would set Dan and Tom up for life, or they wouldn't sell it. And Honestly I would never buy BYOND for like 25 Million dollars.

If I won that much money though, after I gave a chunk to my mom I might donate like $500K or so to BYOND. I think that might help the community in a small way. :P

In a small way, eh? I'm sure Tom would go on a 3-month vacation paid via Shades. :P

No, I agree.... But there are better ways than the lottery. The lottery's odds are like, the lowest out of anything you can do (at least that isn't automatic, like slots, which have the ability to completely scam you).

I LOVE gambling, but if you want any worthwhile chance of winning at all, you have to either take charge and get good at a game (i.e. blackjack, high stakes poker), or you should enter for lower prizes with better odds of winning/no cost, like free business sweepstakes.

I've been thinking about this. If I ever won/obtained (earning is for losers) a good deal of money (as in, really lots) then I'd give like, a million quid (about 1.8 million dollars) to BYOND... on the ONE condition that the next version of BYOND was hard-coded so that if the variable key == Elation then it'd have to display "Your Lord and Master" on the front of it.
So if someone were to write world << "[key] says: [text]", it'd be all, "Your Lord and Master Elation says: ah ah".

Do you think that Tom would ever do that for 1.8 million USD? How about 5 million USD?

Or you could just make the key 'Your Lord and Master Elation'.

I'll NEVER let that Elation steal my key!
