Can anyone here convert Volts to Watts? Its for a little summer expierament I am doing.
I have 800 V/sx10-3 , which I got from 3V/3.75x10-3s
I need to measure its power in Watts, so I know if its with legal limit. I dont want it to be too powerful, but I still want it to be powerful enough to do some things >_>
If you haven't figured it out yet, I am making a laser. I know how to make one, I just don't know how to measure its power in Watts. =\

oO So when I measured power earlier this mornin, I was measurin Watts? Oh well. I might've noticed, if I wasn't half asleep at the keyboard TT__TT

Though you will find that power, P = VI = V**2/R = I**2 * R
