Maybe Scoobert could help me with this (doesn't he run a 98?) I bought my PC with XP on it, but I need the drivers that work for a WIndows 98.

I have an HP Pavailion a305w, I really don't know WHICH drivers I need, but I need them.
(I hate seeing everything in 16-bit color mode!)
Well, find out what graphical chipset you have, then find drivers for that. The HP website is your best choice, but they probably don't distribute win98 drivers for a machine that came with XP on it.

Oh yeah, I don't run 98 on any systems of mine, I even 86'd the win98 virtual machine I had on my laptop (brought it up to XP, and it actually runs better, crazy as it may sound). I take slight offence to that, suggesting that I might have a machine with win98 on it.

To recap before my ramblings: Check the HP site and any HP support you might be able to get. If that fails, find out what graphical chipset you have, look for win98 drivers for it.
