Help get Marina from Mischeif Makers into SSBB! Just post your Email here, or send me an Email with the topic 'Marina in SSBB' and I will give you the Email to Nintendo. I just got a reply, stating that they would forward my suggestion to them, but Im only one person. If we all work together, we can see the return of a great character!

Not to mention I have no doubt the game is in its final stages. They can't add a character last second. Especially if they arranged the characters in a perfect rectangle or something, she just wouldn't fit. Not to say she doesn't deserve to be in it, though. Mischief Makers was an awesome game.

Given the balancing and perfection in the SSB games I imagine it'd cost quite a lot of work-time adding a new character. If you can provide the cash... =p

Hey, m mad because they never made a Mischeif Makers 2 sequel. They could atleast put her in SSBB. Then I'd be content.

Sorry, but as the others pointed out, it's too late for them to include new characters...
Besides, though, she's not an important enough Nintendo figure to be included... These games are like a showcase of Nintendo's highlights and V.I.P. characters... Stuff from the fringes isn't likely to make it into any of them... Heck, even the inclusion of Snake is pushing it a bit far (though he debuted on the original Metal Gear on Nintendo, and then went on to become a very well known video game character, which is his ticket into the game) The rest of the characters included in the first two SSB games are all taken from defining Nintendo titles... Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, F-Zero (the original was a HUGE deal when it came out, with its fancy "Mode 7" graphics), Fire Emblem (not big here, since the first one to release to America was number 7 in the series just recently, but it's been big in Japan ever since the days of the NES), StarFox, Kirby, etc... Even Earthbound (Ness's origin) was a big Nintendo cult classic... The fact of the matter is that they're only looking to include characters that are important in the Nintendo universe... Not just any character from any Nintendo game... Only the big guys... Mischief Makers might have been an excellent game (I've never personally played it, but you've spoken highly of it), but it's definitely not one of the big guys... |
