HP Printer

I have a PSC 1510 printer, and everytime I run the installer, this happens.


Is there another way to install this HP printer? (maybe by using some kind of program?)

Buy a printer worth owning?

Also, if you can figure out who really makes the printer, and what model it is, you can find the drivers from the real manufacturer. I would guess that it is a lexmark(Most HP printers are), but you will need to do a little research to figure out which lexmark it really is.

This is dumb!
Can't I get some kind of "Generic Printer Installer?"

Linux has CUPS, it works perfectly with my HP printer.
But I need to do it on Windows. ;(

Well, windows has a generic printer driver, you might be able to force it to use it, but it probably wont work. Go to "Add new hardware" in control panel, then try to run it though for your printer.
