Alright... I probably should not even bother asking here, but you never know. I bought a camera recently, and when I plug it into my laptop, I get a new hardware found wizard, which I can choose to go through but does no good. So I have a problem with my computer not recognizing the camera, and letting me transfer pictures off the camera. I can plug it into my friends computer, or even another laptop and it works. I talked to Sony, HP and Best buy camera salesperson, and geek squad. It still does not work. Geek squad told me to put in my drivers restoration DVD that came with the laptop. It installed something, but nothing that fixed my problem. Has anyone ever had such a problem and had it fixed? I just want to give up, but I need it to work. If anyone is wanting to help, but want any specific details let me know... Here is a list of things I have already done...

Installed, and uninstalled supplied software that came with camera

Made sure laptop does not turn power off to any USB port to save power

Eh...I think thats it sadly enough but there isn't much I can do. If no one can help, no biggie...I mean BYOND is far from Sony, HP and the Geek Squad. Thanks

Check to make sure your USB slot is working, One of mine failed and I had a similar problem.
