Trillian has better support for the clients. Gaim has a lot of work to do yet to get there. but Gaim is much lighter on the system which is a plus on old hardware.

the only way to increase your RAM is to buy more RAM.

uhhhh no.. it's called virtual ram

go to your desktop
right click my computer
click the advanced tab
in the performance frame click settings
again, click the advanced tab
the last button, "change"

there you go. now you can use your hard drive for your ram. its very awesome when you get a huge hard drive and you use like 5 gig of ram.

Actually, no, virtual memory won't help in this case. Look at the error message he's getting; the program is actually checking to see how much RAM he has. Not virtual memory, but actual physical RAM. Increasing the amount of virtual memory available won't stop the program from complaining about the amount of RAM.

Trillian doesn't work for me. I use GAIM. Trillian just crashes.

Not as big as my "Equip with Overlay" Code Problem. If nothing was infront of it it takes up the full page and more (Its shown on the same page though)

Heh, maybe I should get AIM as alternate chatting program.
