Yeah, I have the least creativity on BYOND, and no decorative or artistic skills to speak of. So I just went with some dark colors that were easy on the eyes.

Mines Simple.
I've been hoping to get this one working, but I don't know how to set it up :(

Check out the screenshot of mine (it's interactive too). You can hide icons with a widget for that Kapsules thing (google it). Other than that, I dunno how to fully remove the recycle bin.

*edit*

Screw that, this is much easier.

Then why on Earth did you decide to use IE?

Just trying out the new 7.0 Beta 2.

Because IE 7 is better then FF? :P. heh, I use both FF and IE on my computer. Never got anything with either, and I happen to like them both.

it's all a matter of choice. former mac/windows users may prefer KDE's interface. i like it because of Konqueror's built in fish:// protocol that allows me to access SSH servers for drag-n-drop file transfers. Gnome is not too bad if you are geeky enough to get around many of it's limitations. ubuntu's setup of Gnome is probably the best i've seen so far.

i'm also partial to the minimalistic FluxBox and XFCE desktops.

You don't need WindowBlinds. http://members.byond.com/scoobert#post_2

That is way better. You can use Visual Styles as themes rather than a signed Windows Theme. Deviantart has a lot of free visual styles, too.

This is on-topic really. Somewhat anyways. You want to click on the visual styles file.

Note that some computers may have to install the thing manually. I did.

I found a .theme file, extracted to the Themes folder in Resources, and then went to use it. Now it's available as a theme, but the preview is a black screen and if I choose it the theme reverts to Windows Classic. I figured out everything else, but why does it keep doing that?
