You'll need DMCGI/PHP/a web-based programming language depending on what you want to do.

Geocities supports PHP, and it doesn't suck I love it!
The customer service is very quick and helpful, the account registration is cheap and quick, and the entire interface is easy to use for file managing outside of a FTP program. I'll stick up for geocities, even though my accounts are paid accounts, they havn't done me wrong yet... hell you can even go months without paying them before they actually get mad at you... lol |

I think he was talking about the free Geocities plan, which barely allows anything except HTML and images =P.

Rangle up $50 and go to http://www.godaddy.com
Get the basic hosting and a domain name for a year. Tada, all fixed. You will have a real website capable of PHP, and with some work, intergration with the BYOND website. |

Define better. They have great customer support, they support most languages, and if they lack one request it and they usually try their best. The space they offer for the price is great, I'm paying $6 for a domain name, 5 gigs of space and 200 gigs of transfer... I really don't need any more than that right now.
Sure there are greater offers, but they aren't necessary, and they usually don't provide the good support to follow. |
