I highly doubt someone that's on the staff of G4 would let him/herself be seduced into playing Zeta games.

By "rip" I thought you meant using the icons from the game. Sorry, misunderstanding...I think.

I wish I shared your optimism. =P

The reasons I think that are:
1) Most of the people who play Zeta rips are kids. A G4 official isn't a kid.
2) Even if at first they like it, they won't play every single one, because they will find out, and most likely stop playing it when they notice.
3) There are plenty of BETTER games for a G4 official to play.
4) A G4 official wouldn't get as easily sucked in as most of the people who play BYOND games do.

Well, fan games rip off all of their icons anyways from the original games, so seeing "ripped" graphics in a fan game is pretty much, always.

Graphics have very little to do with gameplay, though.

I dunno about that. I've not watched G4, but I've become aware that anyone who works for the media (such as newspapers, T.V.) has a very warped and limited awareness of computer games as a whole.

I mean, you see these "Barbie Horse Adventures drives child into destructive rage" stories all the time. They're generally true in the case of the Horse Adventure series, but that's not the point. =p

G4 is a (supposed to be) a video game network. No one I've seen on that channel believe that videogames cause destructive behavior in children, except if they're young.
