Nah, not really, Ive only been reading around where and when I can. But I was told they could add strain to the controller, like forward and backwards with it.

That you are speaking of would be force feedback.

That wouldn't really do anything, since I assume the controller will be lightweight enough to life with one hand. ;)

Either way it'll kick the console market out of stagnation, which is a Good Thing.

Multi-console games signify badness anyway. If all the consoles are similar enough that they can run the same game, then what's the point in having 3 consoles to choose from in the first place?

Hopefully with companies (or rather, Nintendo) branching out we will have variety and promise in the market.

(I'm pleased about the general pro-nintendo feeling of this thread, too. :) Now that Nintendo have shocked the world with the DS craziness, it's a lot more open to the alternative-ness of the Revolution!)

YES YES..finally a way to exercise and play zelda at the same time. Man...swinging that sword must be fun...lets just add a zelda sword controller and a little weight on it... and my living room will be a massive mess of broken tv shards, burnt flooring, and dead people befor u can shoot me with a sniper when you're sent as part of the SWAT team tasked with taking me down.
I'm sure swinging that controller will be really popular in crowded play areas. Or in stores that have a "Demo Display" type of thing set up.

I played a game in an arcade one that was motion sensetive, was really cool. Ducking, dodging, aiming, etc was all based on how you were moving (You could even actually just reach over and fire some quick shots if you wanted to). Was a hell of a lot of fun but it got to be really killer on the knees as you just sorta kept going on and on.

I think I've played the game you're talking about. It was pretty cool, after I got over the thought of me looking retarded in the middle of the mall's movie theater lobby that it was in, in front of many, many people.

A gyroscope would be able to oppose a twisting motion of the controller, but not a fowards/back/sideways motion.
I like it.....

I hope people are smart enough not to get games that require the swinging of the controller if they don't have the room to do so. :P

I doubt they will make the interface hard(Remember, Nintendo is trying to attract gamers and non gamers alike. Who woudl play if the controls were too hard?) Even though I'm not a zelda fan, it would probably be cool to slash with your sword using the main cotnroller and put up your shield with the analog atatchment..

Ha. The amount of "exercise" you'd get by swinging your arms about is probably not much less than swinging your feet around on a DDR machine. :P

Dude, those things tire you out. I work up a sweat playing my brother's i-toy thing!

Just sucks that SC3 is a PS2 exclusive :'(.

Which would only work if the controller were attached to something. You cant feedback against air, much more than shake around a little and make your hand go half numb.

And we've not seen a Burnout game since Burnout 2. =/

They could be using the same laser for measuring the distance between the TV and the controller as for determining it's pitch/yaw/roll.

I'm pretty sure it's possible since land surveyors use them now adays to take measurements
Yea,it is unexpected but i think because of its controler it sells will drop.....But,i gatta give it props for that movment thing they have for it.....That would be perfect if you would be a playing a tennis video game but yuor hands would get tired if your a fat person who likes to play tennis games and not very active....So bascilly that controler is like those other games out there which require you to move in order to play...Hopefully they would make a normal control or something like that, that doesnt require you to move.
