Why is this? What exactly did we do? Just curious.
It's pretty rude if you ask me, and that's just somthing I avoid. There's only a few good people that go to Chatters and most of them are stupid guys (or nerds, whatever) that like to proove you wrong or say offensive things to you or about your country because they have nothing better to do.

Agreed, anyone who insults someone just for being from a country, in predjudist is extremely small minded, and is far from worth listening to.
You can't take a joke, that's what you did.(Even if it's a crappy joke)
In response to Artekia
It was still offencive, even if it was a joke, the fact it was a joke does not excuse that.
In response to Artekia
Hey, next time I think you should say weather or not it's a joke...the internet isn't like real life where as you can actualy hear the other persons tone and whatnot...
In response to Wanabe
I admit I did react a little harsh at first, but, as most people if they have been up for 42 hours will say, they have problems fully controlling their actions

Which would explain why anyone from the USA gets insulted by the rest of the world on a regular basis?
In response to Draxxis
Well I've never insulted any Americans, but say another Brit insulted an American, does that mean -I- diserve to be insulted?
In response to Holy Retribution
Nope. You shouldn't get insulted on the basis of where you're from no more than you should over the color of your skin or what gender you belong to.
In response to Draxxis
Which is why I started this thread, I agree with that, if the insult had been aimed at just me, I might not have taken as much offence on the matter.
You put "u's" where no "u's" belong...

Colour, humour, armour...

And then you flip around "er"

Centre, theatre...

Which country spoke the English Language first England or America? Yes, England, so if anyone puts them the wrong way, its the Americans, but, thats why they're classed as two languages, UK English and US English, that way, nobody is wrong.
In response to Holy Retribution
But your way puts extra letters in that would make it sound the way it's not supposed to sound.
In response to Artekia
How do you know that? Do you know Latin?
In response to Holy Retribution
No, but I know what sounds letters make. I went to pweskool.
In response to Artekia
Yes but, English is based off Latin, so unless you know Latin, you don't know what words are -MENT- to sound like, so your argument is severly flawed, also considering British where speaking English first, that means if anything, your REMOVING letters, and making words sound incorrect.

But if we're going to continue language arguments then forget this...

こんばんはは、ঐ 1;元気ですか
(Konbanwa, Ogenki desu-ka)

I'm joing gonna speak Japanese instead.
In response to Holy Retribution
See?

I still win this argument because my country can conquer your's; such are the advantages of living in the only remaining superpower.

[EDIT]

I'm just playing with you =P

Get a history book out and look up "Battle of Britain" before you say that again.
works both ways , I play a game that has mostly Britains on it and they call every american they see a yank. Also this probably has nothing to do with them being british but it seems most of them also hate Asians/Blacks. And in conclusion my point was that everyone is different and just cause a couple guys insulted britains doesnt mean that we all feel that way.
