I have a D-Link DSL-302G internet router. I believe it has a built in fire wall. Does anyone know how to disable it as I need to host my game.

DMZ host is more efficent than port-fowarding, but I don't think all routers have that feature.

I looked up the site you gave me and then realised that I forgot to tell you that my router is Optusnet surplied. Therefore it has a totaly different browser menu. Could you help me.

The terms involved should be similar. Look for "port forwarding" or "Virtual Server" options. Don't be afraid to experiment a little; if you mess it up, most routers have a reset button that sets everything back to factory defaults.
Just make sure you know what your current config is so you can change it from the factory default afterwards. =) |
read your user manual, and look at this website that i found.
