Humm... I never went to high-school, but I turned out fine. :p
|
Congratulations! I can't believe it's been 13 years since I graduated from high school. Now I'm going to be 30 next week. I'm old.
|
*sigh*
Only four years now until I graduate. I officialy turned a freshman last Friday at 2:15 PM CST. |

Yep. I'm only 14 after all, I don't care how many of you though I was older (and I know a few of you did).
|
Wow, old timer. Not to much longer and you will be going to bed before 8pm and getting up before 6am. On the plus side, you will get a discount at your favorite breakfast diner.
|
Your not that old. Its kinda old to start having kids or something like that, but surely its not too old to all the other *fun* things in life (like pay the bills, go to work, etc.) Once you reach retirement age, then your old.

Yep, I'm older that you(^_^) jsut seems like when you're a good coder/developer, and you've been on byond a while, ppl automatically assume you have a wife and kids and stuff like dat. I admit, I did. |

I admit, I did. Were you talking about me? Let me tell you, I'm not the best coder out there. I'm better than I used to be, I admit, but I'm not exactly *good* even though I have been here for nearly a year. Well, I'll assume you were talking about someone else. [EDIT]I am not being modest. Just ask around. Read some of my old posts. I use to claim to be good, but I can do the basics, and some of the advanced stuff, but nothing serious. |
30 too old to start having kids? Heh, not really. Given the average male lifespan is into the 70's, that gives plenty of time for child rearing. Heck, parents in their 40's have successfully started families. Generally, age is far more a factor for the child bearer (IE the female) because of increased risk of complication. But a male can easily father a child well into the golden years. As long as the male is reasonably active, middle age or even early senior years shouldn't be too much for raising a child (assuming said male wants to raise a child). Many grandparents are far more responsible in child rearing then the primary parents, after all!
