I assure you that it will hurt the PS3 sales. It may not kill the PS3, as nothing really can, but it will seriously put a dent in the PS3 opening sales.

I can see some advantages to having a boomerang-shaped controller. For one, if you threw it away in a fit of rage you wouldn't lose it, because it'd just come back. For two, you could hunt kangaroos with it, and that's just cool.
