or the owners haven't created their own game like Earths Special Forces for half-life... a mod made by a few people...
If they actually made a decent DBZ game, they'd make so much bank... byond is just a small example of how many mindless drone people who can stand doing monotonous things all day are out there... and for the rest of the dbz fans out there, I'd say it's a market pretty untapped. Just for example of how much money gets produced, think about all the crappy, really crappy games the owners have actually made, and over extended amounts of time... This just goes to show they don't even have to put effort into their games to make it highly successful market wise. If they did make a good game, they could break records hehe :)

what game is this that is multiplayer online free for all dbz? I was never aware of one ever being created other then by fans...
but of course my point was that the crappy games do make enough money they don't need to make a good one... |

Oh, multiplayer one. I doubt they will do that right now, because the DBZ "trend" is going down, and the Naruto "trend" is going up. They aren't going to release something more permenant based on an obvious unstable base.

Once they're done with budokai 3(which will be the last budokai) i'm sure they'll think about MMORPG on the ps3.

Thank God...for a game with the title translating to: "Way of life of the power that hold the universe together", it certainly was crap.
Try playing Soul Calibur, instead. |

Actually, after Budokai 3, they're making DBZ Sagas: Evolution, which is a Dragonball Z Action-Adventure title for PS2. You can see a trailer for it if you buy the Collector's Edition of Budokai 3. |
I think dbz should die..Its been out forever and goku has died 3-4 times and brought back to life 7-times...Figure it out...And now he is a child or somthing in gt?DBZ should have died when freakin db died!Dont get me wrong its a nice show but when i can tell u the story in a few sentences its dead...watch..
A new badguy tries to take over earth or destroy it and then goku loses to him then goes to ss 100 or w/e the next lvl is and then wins..Then it happens all over again.. |

or the owners haven't created their own game like Earths Special Forces for half-life... a mod made by a few people... The problem is that ****ing retard that hacked the original DBZ code. He gave it out to the public, than all those losers out there that dont know how to code, but want a game, went and took it, changed 1 or 2 little things, and called it their own. It is quite sad, yes, but I tend to just see the DBZ games in the HUB as blank rectangles, because to me, they dont exist. I dont even think the original coder for that DBZ game is still known...I really dont think so. Anyway, for your other subject, about how ppl should be making games more worth it, there are a bunch of games on BYOND that are worth noting, and checking out. For example, while I dont like MJ at all, it is a notable game, because its not a remake of DBZ with new icons and a different name. It has its own parts that are different than other games. While a game thats not completely RPG, I am in the current works of a Space Game. Its technically RPG but its different. You control a ship. You are to go around the galaxy, and colonize as many planets as possible. But thats not where it ends. after Colonizing your first planet, you need to build facilities to keep it giving you a reasonable income. But not only that, theres more than 1 Type of Item that can help. theres a Currency (Like most Space games, Credits) and then theres all kinds of other things you can do. Its really good going, and I expect it to be a great game on the BYOND universe. I hope this helps on why all these DBZ losers are come to stop chaning 1 or 2 things and start calling them their own, its really annoying. |

Look, some of you may not like the series, some of us do. Thats what makes us deverse.
I like some animes, but alot of them I hate for their poor animation. One I really hated was the Gundam Wing Series, but yet again, I loved Dragonball and Dragonball Z, and Fooly Kooly. Instead of calling people loosers for sitcking to what they love, you need to remeber this and just not say anything, thats how fights get started. As for commercial games in the USA, you have to realise, that the Dragonball Franchise is actully really old in Japan and such, and were getting cartoons in the states that are years and years old. So the few games we have seen were terrible. One was a Nintnedo port that was totally ripped apart, with very little plot at all. Then we had GT for the PS1, and while it was better then the Nes game, wasnt worth the $15.99 you can get for it now in WalMart. Budokai for PS2 was a pretty decent game, and even some of my Dragonball hating friends would get together and play it over at my house. In my opinion Budokai 2 sucked hard. And then you have to remeber that in Japan they were getting all sorts of RPGs, fighting games and more. Some really, really good, some not so good. I'm glad to see the USA finally starting to pick the slack up and get some more dragonball games, but if they arent any good, they can keep them for all I care. Im still concerned about getting Earthbound Collection and Mother III to the states! As for PC games, there are two major ones I can think of. One was a 'total conversion' for Quake III. When the people who were developing it go too close to story lines and charaters, FunAnimation (or someone else I forget) shut them down. So they re-did it, with a similar idea, but not as close to the series as before. It was called Bid for Powe. It was a decent total conversion. Now, after talking to laywers and what not, they managed to be able to get as close to the plot and story as they wanted. All the charater models look great, and the combat is apprently awesome. And now its not a total conversion but its own game. Unfrontaly I cant remeber the site, game name or link, I recently formatted my PC, and have a bad memory. All in all, Dragonball us just starting to get more popular in the states then what it was back in the 1990s, otherwise we would of never seen up to GT, or even these videogames, action figures or board games. Whatever we get, as long as it plays well Ill be happy. |

dbz actually had a beautiful story line... If you were actually paying attention to it. Most people just ignore it and only talk about the fighting probably because it wasn't the best storyline ever, but it was a good one.
Goku is a good role model, he never gives into desires, he never does anything with a malicious intent and he doesn't hate anyone. He is the good person essence or in a sense jesus (minus the fighting), you will probably find few times in the writing of dbz where goku does anything that a bad person would do. He is also the big brother that stands up and cares for his friends and everyone in the world. Basically he is always the one that sacrifices himself to save the meaningless lives of all those cartoon characters. Vegeta was a good example of someone who was raised in a bad environment (maybe beaten as a kid a few times, obviously to increase his power level only of course) and miraculously turned semi-good over long periods of love and nurture from the ho (japenese version) or the sweet girl (american version) bulma and all goku's friends. Actually the only characters I can give merit to are gohan and goku, just because of their good nature they represent a good example for little kids (minus the fighting all the time, we're just talking about story). However, the japenese version is just wrong. FOr instance, the first dbz show in japenese version has a part where bulma pulls up her skirt and she doesn't have panties on, then the old guy starts having blood gush out his nose constantly. What is up with that? |

Hmmm, you mean that "Budokai" translates to that?
I think that either you've picked too literal of a translation, or you've gotten it wrong... The name "Budokai" used in the DBZ games comes from the "Tenka'ichi Budokai" that plays a prominent role in the series... "Tenka'ichi Budokai" is generally translated as "World's Best Matrial Arts Championship"... Which is exactly what it is... A fighting tournament among the world's top fighters to see who is number 1... Now, whether or not that translation is literally correct, it's what "Budokai" is intended to mean... |

You have got to be kidding me! The main story is retarded! The whole fighting thing is even worse! I've seen better from the retarted show, Ed, Edd and Eddy on CN, that I dont watch because im not a kid. But I saw it like once or twice, and it was BETTER than DBZ, and it SUCKED BALLS!
