Well for anyone that has to evacuate let's all pray for their houses not to be damaged my massaize flooding or anything like that.
Flick's family had to deal with the first... er second... er Francis. I'm guessing Ivan is a problem for his family as well.

Actually, we aren't supposed to get anything but a few inches of rain and mild winds from Ivan. Frances, on the other hand, sucked... We wound up not being in the direct path, but we still lost thousands of trees around town. I had no power or water for over five days, and work was absolutely insane.

My mom had it worse. Melbourne was pretty much in the direct path, and they got hurricane force winds for most of a day. She still doesn't have power and it's been over a week. No injuries or major damage to the house, thankfully.

Overall we got really lucky, but if you are in New Orleans I would advise you to get the heck out. Ivan is badass.

It's Jeanne and it's only a Tropical Storm as far as I know. Although it is getting stronger.

I was reading an article in the news paper i forget what day but it said the water climates change every 20 years and now they shifted this year so we will get more hurricanes.

Im not sure if its possible but Im betting we are going to get a hurricane during winter time and the entire eastern coast will get hit with a major blizard.
I am back from Conroe,Texas we evacuated there ,but we got REALLY lucky, cause if it hit the mouth of the river directly New Orleans would have been covered in water. They said on the news that some people call New Orleans "Cajun Atlantis" because of we are just waiting for a hurricane to come up the river and flood us.But I think they said on another news that its impossible cause of the rivers water tempature. So atleast we got lucky this time. And hell,I had fun in texas,it was my first time there.Well I hope everyone in Miss.,Al.,and Fl. are all ok.And Georgia I think.

Tropical storms always make me think of fruit, although that may be because I have a fever and havent eaten more than twice since tuesday; you never know.
It turns out that Hurricane Ivan only gave Louisiana very little rain, and wind. Florida, however, got a large number of tornadoes. Mobile, Alabama was where the eye hit. Jeanne is expected to go streight along the side of Florida.
And Florida is hit again

(Sorry for bringing this back up, I evacutated)

I'm down in Georgia, we lost our power from 6 PM till around midnight the night Ivan came along. A couple trees fell in my neighborhood, and my backyard could be a pool with all the rain water. :P

I live in New York, so we have not had any damage from the hurricanes until this morning. We had major rain and wind, and it has been going on all day. I took a look outside and saw one of my glass tables slideing away so I ran outside to grab and and the wind knocks off the top and the glass nails me right in the face and it shatters. I was at the hospital and they patched it all up. God, I am gonna' lay the smackdown on this damn hurricane. I have glass all in my pool and outside everywhere. This is going to suck cleaning it up.

If Ivan hit Great Britain, it would cover the entirely of our little empire.
60 million people would hit the roads, trying to get to airports and docks...but everything would be in chaos.
Around 90% of 60 million people would be massacred...
So many people fleeing :(

Heh, I like how lame the names of all the hurricanes are. One particular joke I liked about it was this:

Man 1: "Francis is comming!!!"

Man 2: "Oh, should I heat up some tea?"
