What was the first BYOND demo/lib EVER to be created?
What was the first BYOND game to be created?
What game has had the most downloads?
What game has had the least downloads?
What demo/lib has had the most/least downloads?
Questions, questions, questions! Can you answer them?

Hmm, I think Spuzzum said his s_admin had the most downloads out of libraries.

No, he said it was popular. =)
In that same thread Deadron showed off three libraries with more downloads. =) |
I wasn't around in the beginning, but I can make a logical assumption. Dan and Tom probably had the first demos and libs out, as they probably made them at the time of, shortly after, or possibly even before they released BYOND for use.

But... What was the FIRST game ever made?
And how was it like in the beginning? Like...was there only 1 game online with only 6 people in it? And then it grew and 2 games became online etc. and here we are with 50+ games online daily with 100+ players? |

But... What was the FIRST game ever made? It would have been a test game created by Dan or Tom (or both). =) From memory, the first game to be added to the hub that is still on there is Sheep or Sheep II. (I forget which.) But there were many BYOND games around before the hub was around. |

Okay. Next question. What game and what demo/lib has the most downloads?
|
What game has had the least downloads?Well that one is easy. Any game that doesn't provide a download won't have any downloads and thus have the least :). Questions, questions, questions! Can you answer them? Well back when I joined in July '98 the games already there made by Dan and Tom where Chess and Night Soil. There was also a simple chat program which was persistantly hosted for a little while. The main demo was A Taste of DUNG(reamastered to later become A Step BYOND :) ). There was of course also the guide and the reference. |

And how was it like in the beginning? Like...was there only 1 game online with only 6 people in it? In the beggining there was no hub. To get people in my original CTF game I had to post a date ahead of time for everyone to meet at and then on the date post my ip and port I was hosting on. And then it grew and 2 games became online etc. and here we are with 50+ games online daily with 100+ players? Well by the time the hub was around there was already a decent number of games around. |
