I'm not that computer saavy, and I keep hearing people say how great Linux is. So I was just wondering if anyone here could enlighten me, since google isn't very helpful today. Also, where could I find a free Linux that I could use to boot from a CD/Jump Drive?
Ubuntu

Also, anime central doesn't work for me...
I would pick Ubuntu.
Very easy for newbies, and can run off of a Live CD so you can actually test the software before you run it.
If you have the right graphics card, a fun thing to play around with is beryl, you can get all of this information from ubuntuforums.org
Yes, beryl is great fun. It took a little work to get Kubuntu running on my desktop PC(Basically had to install the graphical drivers in "recovery mode"(No GUI). Besides that, it runs great and Beryl really enhances the desktop.

Ok, thanks. Yah, I've noticed it hasn't been working, either. I'll have to ask A.T.H.K about that, he might know.
Haven't seen him on MSN for awhile, though :[
