Limewires illegal right? I wanna know if its legal to download some songs on it. Am I breaking the law?

LimeWire is a software tool that enables peer-to-peer file-sharing on the Gnutella network. It's what you download, not what you use to download, that breaks the law.

Is it legal to download some songs on it? Yes.
Is it legal to download the songs that you will probably be downloading on it? No.

Unless you live in Canada or Russia or [Insert Country That Does Not Recognize Copyright Or Has A Clause That Would Exempt The Downloading Of Music Here], where you can say: "HAHA! Suckers!" and continue to download music as you please(more or less).
