I was wandering if anyone knows of any good sites to go to for learning CGI? And also if anyone knows any good, free web servers that support CGI?

These are some good hosts:
http://nic.nac.wdyn.de - Slow, you have to send the guy a password, and some Unix/Linux experience is recommended. However, you get a full shell account with unlimited server space (but no files over 1MB), there are no ads, and you even get a MySQL database (on request). You'll need a Windows SSH (Secure Shell) client to use it; most people recommend PuTTY, but I prefer the client available from http://www.ssh.com/support/downloads/secureshellwks/ non-commercial.html; it has file transfer (in other words, you can upload your files over SSH) and is easier to use. The postcard is well worth it. =)
http://www.prohosting.com - Unreliable, has ads, is a total pain to set up, and every now and then will send you emails that you don't want. Usually works, though, and you don't have to send them anything.
