Regression: One of the memory leak fixes wasn't quite right, but the problem only showed up in certain situations, resulting in a crash.

This issue has been resolved.
Descriptive Problem Summary:

In certain situations DS will crash consistently. A test case was provided via Discord.


Numbered Steps to Reproduce Problem:

- walk out the door.

Expected Results:

- go outside.

Actual Results:

- crashes after saying a bunch of expletives and kicking a puppy. Not acceptable.

Does the problem occur:
Every time? Or how often? Yes!
In other games? Probably not!
In other user accounts? Yes!
On other computers? Yes!

Did the problem NOT occur in any earlier versions? If so, what was the last version that worked? The crash is new to the latest build 514.1573. Did not exist in prior builds.
