How can you turn your IP address to a website....and/or change anything thats already on it? I just went to my IP address (in the browser) and found that it was an internet link to "My Shared Folder" of kazaa. please help...
You need to host a website, using website hosting software (such as Apache). It looks like Kazaa is hosting a "website" for you which is the contents of your shared folder, which is presumably how it shares files. (Interesting!) If you really want to host a website, though, you will need to have your computer on all the time. You'll also either want a static IP (most people have dynamic IP addresses, which means that it won't always be the same), or you could head over to dyndns.org and get yourself an account and subdomain there (full instructions on how to use this are on the website). Good luck!

if you are using Windows, get the latest BadBlue server - it is very small, powerful, and free! Originally BadBlue was meant to be a file-sharing program like Kazaa, but has since morphed into a decent and easy to setup webserver too! I use it at my office for website testing with PHP and MySQL... very stable, secure, and quick.

The only problem is I have no idea how to use it.How would I upload a whole folder instead of just one file?

That's a joke right? You mean (since the server would be running on your own machine) you do not know how to transfer files between directories in Windows? You might want to try some online tutorials about this.
