Getting a Mac...

I'm probably gonna get an eMac or iMac, but..which OS should I use? They both come pre-installed with OS 9 and X...but I'm unfamiliar with X, with all the Carbon patches and compatability and stuff, but it looks so much better, and I know stuff works with 9, but it looks..so not much better...and I wanna run VirtualPC (only for BYOND..not going back......), so should I do it in OS 9 or X?

Stick with OS 10.2 if you can, and use OS9 ('Classic') for apps that are not ported to X yet. VirtualPC should run in both although I have only seen it in OS9.

Personally, I'd get one of the newer iMacs with the 17" flat screen and the combo DVD/CD-R drive...
