Would anyone recommend a book (over 200 pages college level) that i should read for a literature class in less than 2 weeks? (has to be artful if thats even a word and interesting)

"The Complete Works of Shoser(sp?) In the Middle English" (a body humor) |
"Dreamcatcher" by Stephen King 882 pages. OUTSTANDING Book, good literature...it's also now being made into a movie ^_^

Enders Game is a great one. Gary Palson i think wrote it, but i could be wrong, he might have wrote brians winter. Those are the only 2 books i have ever read on my own without an assignment to.

Humm, that book was what got me into SK.
Clever usage of the Line I must say! As a movie it would be wierd with all the in head stuff... Could turn out good, could turn out bad... meh :D |
I haven't read it in a long time, but I found Crime and Punishment pretty interesting when I read it in high school.
Heart of Darkness is good but I don't think it's 200 pages. Wait! I know just the book. Try The Count of Monte Cristo. |

Oh ya i hear Dune is a pritty good book, im not sure what it is about totaly, but i know its about a war over a spice planet, these spices being worth almost more that gold, its really a big war, and the giant spice worms dont help ether. But to be honist, most of what i know of the book came from the game, which has a diffrent story line. The simularity is in the setting, thats all i really know.

Sophie's World by Jostein Gaarder. Let's just say it's artful and it meets your page requirements.

The Dune series is weird, especially after the first few books - even if you don't count the highly addictive but life-prolonging spice (read: mind-altering drug) that everyone on the planet is addicted to... =D
This guy undergoes a freaky transformation into a hybrid human and giant worm, and ends up ruling the planet... but I won't spoil too much for you. =P |
Magician, by raymond E feist. About 800 pages long, but you should be able to finish it. Brilliant book, in my humble opinion. Also, go for David Eddings Pawn of Prophecy, Smaller then Magician, but still above 200 pages.
