I prefer to beat the bloody hell out of anyone who challenges me with my bare hands, but there are situations where just your hands and feet can't help you. I usually carry a switch blade in my back pocket because I am not a big fan of guns. Only time I would actually use it though, is normally for a bluff.

I do have a few heaters I keep with me when traveling though. Two twin-copper head pistols I call "Ebony and Ivory" and a Spaz Shotgun that is just for show.

What are your opinions on carrying and using weapons?

Marijuana
I prefer my bare hands too. I don't really need a weapon since I can usually take someone down pretty quickly when I need to. I'm lucky enough to have never got into a situation where I need a weapon though.
I prefer to avoid people who like to discuss things like this, actually.
Ebony and Ivory intogether in perfect harmony! Oh yeah, they're Dante's guns also. I don't mind weapons, just nothing that can cut the person, like a staff or shortstaff. Helps not make it look as bad in court.
I don't think any kind of violence is appropriate. Especially using weapons. But knowing this sick and messed up world, there are always going to be those sadistic creeps that just love to cause pain for everyone. I would only fight if I was forced to.. even if someone pushed me to the edge with insults and curses, I wouldn't fight. If they throw the first punch, then I'd be forced to. That's how my ways are.

I wish you'd define what a "bluff" and a "heater" is... I really don't think those are normal English words =P

"Marijuana's bad... Mmkay?"

I hear ya, bro! Some days, when those crazy bee-yatches in Advertising Accounts want me to run the latest billing report, I just want to go Superfly on their skinny behinds!

In general, I think the citizenry should have the right to bear arms. I also think the citizenry should be properly trained in the use of arms, and the laws that regard legitimate self-defense. And furthermore, I think that people who egregiously abuse the right to bear arms should be subjected to horrible public humiliation.

Nice touch. ;)
I have similar views to this like you Dracon. I wouldn't fight unless provoked. I would fight back with words, though I've never had to deal with violence in my life. People who use words to hurt, are usually the ones who can't take them.

but isn't that how it is now?

Bluff- To intimidate someone to get out of a situation
IE: Pull a knife and act as if you are going to use it so that thet run away and you won't have to get in a fight.

Heater- Its a gun you moron! Use context clues: "Twin copper head pistols and a Spaz Shotgun.

And I prefer to be thought of as an "Urban Pharmacist". And if Marijuana offends you I will change my signature.

PS:Both of those words are in the dictionary...

First, you should know that your signature is over the edge, and this does nothing to change it. A while back Sariat's pointless "smoke a blunt" posts started getting deleted because it went too far, and that even went for posts where he actually had something topical to say in the process (not that I recall that happening much). It's not to single Sariat out, but I just wanted to make you aware that this situation has come up before. This is annoying and it needs to stop. The name goes far enough; you shouldn't be looking for a way to push farther. If you want to deliver pro-drug ads do it in your own space.

Second, you have to start closing your HTML tags or stop using them.

Learn Escrima, it involves two short staffs(wooden sticks i think 2-3 feet in length, just guessing the length from memory, my old Tae Kwon Do instructor was into that.)

I thought a bluff was defined as a "lie"?

Sorry, I don't understand this new fangled ganster language... I'm 15 and already acting like I'm 70 =P

If you were really 70 you would know what a heater was, with heater being a 50's term and all, back in the day with greasers and what not. Your behind the times Narc. I wouldn't feel too bad Dracon :)
You are very cool for carrying that stuff around. Very cool. Your name too. Very cool. I hope you have a long, productive, and interesting time here on Byond. The admins will love you. [;]

My friend's previous roommate pulled a knife on my friend and now that guy has a pheloy on his records. He's just lucky my friend didn't press charges.

Even if you pull a knife on someone as a bluff if you show intent it's assult with a deadly weapon.

He's been having a tryst with someone else...

lol
I've never lived in an environment where carrying a weapon was necessary... Heck, fist fights aren't even that common in my life...lol

So I have a good deal of pity for anyone who lives the kind of life where situations occur that would result in needing a weapon...
