Me, I've had good luck, period -- my PS2 has never had a problem, and I got mine the October it came out.
Mmm I saw on a site somwhere this happens to alot of people and what ya do is take a Vacuum cleaner just the hose part and open the cd driver and suck the dust and stuff, it worked for me might help you
