You'd need the open port to shut him down (or nuke). I wish I had learned from a friend so I could take care of problems like this

They might not be using AOL - they could be pretending to use AOL. Maybe they've taken control of an AOLers computer. Or maybe they've faked their IP address (difficult, but I've heard it can be done).
If you ASS-U-ME... :-) |
i so was not threatening you i was only telling you that some 1 was gonna do it get ya facts right fool

They can definitely take control of someones computer and use that persons computer as a pawn. Why do I know? I know this because I found out that my PC was used as a pawn so that some asswipe could hack into the BT Servers. In which they may/may not have succeeded. Although, I was the one to blame for all of this crap which happened and was banned from the usage of all BTInternet activity, so I was forced to use another ISP. I swore to myself I would never use AOL, in which I will keep that promise until the day I die. So I ended up using FreeServe. Anyway, the real reason I was banned from those BT asswipes servers is in fact, because of another asswipe who used MY computer as a pawn to stop him/her from getting caught! --Lee |

Well, to tell you the truth...if one were to say they were going to hack you, nearly 99.9% of the time....they can't. Honestly folks, a TRUE hacker wouldn't tell you if they were going to do a hack job on someone....think people think! Dern Newbies!!! ARGHHH!!!
|
lol, hes bluffing. That newbie cant hack nor he probaly doesnt even know anyone that knows how to hack.
|
true. Hacking is illegal so heres a comparison.
*Zlegend walks into a store, and tells the manager, "Hey! I'm gonna rob you and smoke all your employees." Clerk: ok... *Zlegend walks into the exact same store, holds a gun up and gets jumped by a SWAT Team. Thats about what that newbie is doing (even though he cant hack). |
i'd throw it at the clerk, knocking him/her out and then threaten each employee with the same bannana so they will cooperate. Being held up with a gun is one thing, but a bannana. Thats a weapon of mass destruction.

Zlegend has a good point there.
Here is my example of why he/she wouldn't hack. False Hacker: False Hacker threatens to hack you. Therefore giving you the knowledge of who to blame when/if you ever do get hacked. True Hacker: True Hackers never give their victims even the slightest bit of information or knowledge about them hacking, threfore keeping them 'invisable' to the threat of being caught. So, as you can see, the False Hacker is only going to get himself/herself into the danger zone if they ever hack you, which is more or less not going to do. All it is to you is a little 'scare'. They won't do nothing, unless they are actually stupid enough to do so and smart enough to hack. Whereas if I said I was going to hack you, not that I would, because I don't really think it is a good way to go around damaging others properties, even if it was the person I hated the most. Seing as I know what it feels like to have been a victim of a hacker once, and I wasn't all that pleased to say the least. Anyway, the point I am making here is that a true hacker would never give a victim any information if he/she would hack them. Mainly to keep the hackers name/location/id invisable and, in a more safer way so the hacker can do his/her business without being caught by the victim. The false hacker on the other hand, the one who is bluffing, would give out a piece of information, IE; Text. Stating that a hacking is going to go on. This is what any hacker would never, ever, ever, ever do! Why? Simple reason is; Hacker will be caught and if the victim calls forth an action, then the hacker will be indefinitely named before hand. So long as the victim has records of the information which has been told, then the victim will more than likely have a firm and strong grip to the turf he/she maybe standing on, whereas the hacker, her/she will be on dangerously crumbling and dying turf. --Lee |
Port 110: A receiving port used to collect e-mails. Vunerable to hacking and DoS attacks.
205.188.6.206: Not on InterNIC. It's not a registered domain, meaning it's probably not a proxy (A lot of hackers nowadays use commercial proxies which are registered domains to hide their real IP address). The PC appears to be on all the time, suggesting business use. Odd combination, if it was a competant hacker with a set-up workstation like this, he would try a lot harder to hide his IP. Da_White-Hat_Rushyo I'll keep you updated :p |
