Ah, I remember that bit now. Could the moderator have just changed "S demon" to "Fecal demon" or something? I'm sorry for using ill language, even if it was in humour.

You could have just called it the Golgothan excremental demon, which was the proper name of the beastie in question, anyway. As far as the appropriate moderator response... the general rule of thumb is, if the post has meaningful content that genuinely adds something to the forum, it gets edited. If it doesn't, it gets axed. You'd have a pretty hard time making a case for your post adding much.
