BREAKING UP IS SO HARD!! hehe...
it is it's 100x worst then people say it is, or atleast when I thought about it iwas like "Ya I could get over someone easy!!"
But when it's actually me getting broken up with it's like sooo much harder...
there's one good thing about breaking up, in order to keep your mind off of it I have to do something, have it be clean, work out or run!
so allllllllll day long I've been doing this, I run about 2-3 hours every day, work out for about an hour or hour and a half and clean!! (with a couple hours on the computer but for some reason when I'm on the cmoputer I keep thinking about her... I can't stop it so teh computer is going to be not one of my activities for awhile)
what does everyone reccommend for getting over a girlfriend? I know there's some psychology majors out there!!

The problem with your advice is that most people here don't have any idea what you mean.
In retrospect, that's not so much a problem as it is an ideal state of affairs. Nevermind. |

is sex really the right road to take?? I mean it seems kinda pathetic and sad if you ask me... I'm one of those stubborn types who think they have to be strong and stick through it and not do anything stupid...

Ah, I believe there is no "real" relationships when you are young. It's basically all just lust. I, myself, would recommend not getting a girlfriend while in high school, or college. Insead I plan to yell at a blank wall while crouched in the fetal position. But anyways, back to sanity -
"Real" relationships happen when you are older, and more mature. Relationships are bad while your younger!!! It's always lust followed by hate!!!!! Why doesn't any other teenager "punk" agree with me? (Probably because I'm an outcast and I have a different way of thinking. But outcasts tell the truth!) -=D=- |

Relationships at a younger age provide experience in the field, so to speak. Hmm, you are right. I still think early relationships are evil. |

I can't manage to read this subject line without hearing it as a song lyric, and that old 80s tune pops into my head. I can't remember who did it.

But you're going to have trouble making any sense when you try to define "real" in this context. A high school romance can feel very real, very deep, and very loving. There's no way you're ever going to convince someone in such a relationship that what they have is not real. It would be more accurate to say that as we mature, our capacity for a meaningful relationship grows in ways we cannot understand as youngsters. In this sense, they become ever more "real," at least for those who allow themselves to grow. Young people do have the ability to love as well as lust. It's just a younger love, but not necessarily meaningless. |

I think once youre in high-school it could be okay to attempt a relationship, otherwise the counterpart can be the immature female with no personality... Maybe Im too gullable but whatever. And pregnancy before marriage is a no no to me. I have a friend shes 13 and pregnant, not good but she doesnt seem to be upset at all. Oy Ive said too much.
But Im gonna give up on relationships until Im in highschool... Hmmm a month away. -Raven- |

We can thank Sting for that song and video... I think from the Album 'Dream of the Blue Turtles' or something like that (normally I'm famous for running out the 'net and looking it up, but sometimes I'm just too tired to do other peoples research - although that is one of my jobs)... :) |

or maybe even analogmouse? hmm.... something to think about, but then everyone would know I was my own alter-ego! No mystery anymore...

No but if you logged in digitalmouse, analogmouse, opticalmouse, traditionalmouse, all in a DBZ game, you could build them up and then rule as the mouseketeers... o.O or just get a couple of buddies, start a game dev team, and call yourselves MouseDev, and you could be digital, buddy1 could be opitcal, etc. I would jump at it if it were me, I just have a liking for names in a series.

Funny, I have two songs stuck in my head from this post, neither of which actually have the line "when you love someone..." in them (I think.) I get is what I think was a Chicago song, with the line "When you love somebody" repeated a few times, and also what my younger sister refers to as "that Brandy song that Bryan Adams remade."

i disagree. My parents had me seven years into the marriage, thing is, my mom had to drop out of colledge because she got sick during the pregnancy. They've been together for 22 years now.
