This is why, when certain people object to mention of a same sex partner on these forums, I point out that I'm no more talking about sex than they are when they happen to mention their parents. ("Don't talk about your parents -- to have parents means your parents had sex, and that's inappropriate to bring up in polite society!")
I thought about using this opportunity to mention the book Brave New World, but then I remembered what happened the last time we tried to discuss a classic work of dystopian literature on the forum...
I can't speak for your case, but in general this tends to mean "I can't bear to think of two men interacting sexually". (For some reason two women seems to have the opposite effect!)
This is because of a natural tendency to think about sex when thinking about gays. But it actually has no more to do with homosexuality than finding it ginky to imagine sex with the weird old woman who crushes cans all day down the street has to do with heterosexuality. (Unless you are attracted to weird old women who crush cans..."and there's nothing wrong with that"...)
One of the reasons that people change their feelings/behavior upon exposure to gays is that it's only with exposure to the people/subject that people overcome thinking about it purely in terms of sex.
