Actually, To play on the "Free Shards" all you need is the game on your computer, but, the "Free Shards" are Illegal Emulations of the actual game.

Look you need to pay to log onto the OFFICIAL UO servers. But someone made a UO server emulator now there are a bunch of bootleg UO server.


I dont know any off hand but I think me friend plays on one. I will ask him.
