www.freedom2surf.com is/was a good one but they seem full now days.. no banners was a BIG PLUS!!!

I saw someone using www.web1000.com today which seemed ok, don't know much about it. but don't remember any annoying popup banners.

They discontinued their free web hosting program. The other bonus was that they gave you PHP and your own database to play with.
