I've dabbled in Visual Basic some, so I know the basics in that. I have a couple of books on it, but they have nothing to do with game programming, so I naturally haven't read them.
I'm pretty good in C++. I've read a few books on it, and still have a few more books to read. I did know some Java, but I lost interest in it when I started on C++. |
Indeedy. I know:
BASIC C/C++ Java Javascript Some assembler Lisp (well, I'm sorta learning it.. but since I don't really have anything to do with it, I don't deal with it much) -AbyssDragon |

Most of my college courses were in C and Pascal. I've used a bunch of other less-well-known tools too. My programming goal for this year: learn Python! It has a modest but repectable following now, and I think it's going to keep gaining ground. And it actually shares many features (albeit using a slightly different syntax) with BYOND's ultra-friendly DM language. |
I dabble here and there in Basic, C++, and similar languages, but I've got no formal training. My high school computer language teacher was convinced that HyperCard was a programming language... and while its internal scripting language is surprisingly robust and well-suited to teaching the basics of coding, he spent most of the time explaining the standard MacPaint tools which are also integral to HyperCard and only briefly acknowledged that the scripting language existed.

I used to do QBASIC but I forgot it :P
