Mizgor claims he has many of the oldbies games as in MLAAS wether or not that this is true just to be safe I think we all need to find some hacker prevention thing, expecially if you have a higly popular game like Zeta or MLAAS.

Thank You

Oddly enough, it's pretty easy to claim things.

-I have all the original code for BYOND and every project ever made.
-I really am Dantom and they're just a clever ruse.
-I can remotely ban people from the entire Internet.

Did you know the word "gullible" isn't in the dictionary?

Dantom has given a lot of thought to security. I'm not exactly a whiz on computer security, but I can at least get the general idea of most of the issues involved, and on the few occasions I've challenged Dantom with a disaster scenario, they've had a response explaining how they accounted for the possibility. So, in short, unless you make the decision to share your program with someone else, it should be pretty safe.

If you do decide to share your program, though, you should be prepared for the possibility that it will spread all over the place. In college this happened to me in a rather unpleasant way... I might write a BYONDscape article about it sometime.

Is that all?

-I'm the one who showed Dan and Tom how to code.
-I own the worlds largest chicken manufacturing plant.
-I invented the internet.
-I invented computers, too.
-I invented Batman.
-I discovered America.

Beat that!

Oh yeah? Well, I know Tom and Dan personally! I've been to Tom's house. Many times. And his parents' house. I have a copy of the original super-hi-res (2560x1024) version of the new BYOND logo. In fact, I not only have it, but I made it. BYOND was compiled on my computer, too.

Oh, wait.

  • I taught you how to code.
  • I built that plant
  • I gave you the idea for the internet
  • I built the parts for the first computer
  • I am batman!
  • I formed America with my bare hands!

    beat THAT!

You're sounding like Al Gore and how he said he invented the calculator!

Knowing Mr. Gore, he was probably aiming for a metaphor but messed it up from sheer shock and exasparation that his opponent was of such a different calibre than him. Whether that calibre is higher or lower can be subject of a little debate. =P
Geeze I'm sorry I said anything...
