MUGEN is a 2D fighting game engine and KFM is a sample fighter. What I'm wondering is why the version being asked for is not the supposedly latest, 2001.11.14.

I don't know of any sites other than Electbyte to get it offhand.

yes but that its for Linux. The latest one for Dos was 14.04.01 and electbyte dont allow downloads of it for some reason :(

Yeah I tried it out once. I didn't like it very much tho.

Heh they have a few 'fan' sites with some cool female fighters too *wink wink* but the game didn't seem all that cool so I didn't bother downloading it.

Heh. The Nina reference comes from a Russian girl who used to appear in my chat wielding a translator. Russian-to-English translators make only slightly more sense than your average Japanese Engrish, so she was rather unintentionally amusing. When she would tell jokes, they'd come out so mangled that they were funny on about 2 or 3 levels.

He didnt give you his life story :P

If he did then it would be a hell of alot longer :P

Anyway, to answer your question, go to a search engine and type in "MUGEN". Then hit the return key or click on the submit button. After that wait until the next page loads. Once the page has loaded pick and choose one of the many sites that has sprung up in the list.

I used to use Mugen but I couldnt get to grips with the character input part so I gave in because there where many characters I had for Mugen yet I couldnt use them so I gave in.

Here is another Mugen that I have used before but when I used to like Mugen this was one of my favourites but I went off from Mugen and from there I came here and from here I stay :P

The link is here

Look around for MUGEN2 (30MB in size) and then test it out if you want to.

Can any one help?

Short of the "Contact Us" page on Electbyte's site, I don't think you'll find it unless you have an old magazine demo CD.

If you want to see a classic example of the fine art of English translation, do a search for the phrase "English As She Is Spoken".

Or, for a fun party game, go to http://babelfish.altavista.com ... have it translate any phrase from English to any other language, then translate it back.

Being an avid MUGEN fan myself,

Here: http://mugen.elecbyte.com/
I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for, but it has the latest version there.

Or for something even funnier: have my brother input his best knowledge of French into the English->French translator (yes, putting French in as English), translating it to French, translating it to English, translating it to Spanish, translating it to English, and then reading the results aloud.

This works especially well with song lyrics.

One especially interesting one: have it translate 99 Red Balloons into German, and 99 Luftballons into English.

99 Luftballons in English:

You have something time for me
Then I sing a song for you
Of 99 ballons
On their away to the horizon
Perhaps you think g'rad of me
Then I sing a song fur you
Of 99 ballons
And sowas of sowas comes

99 ballons
On their away to the horizon
One held for UFOs from the ALL
Therefore a general sent
' ne flier relay afterwards
Alarm to give, wenn's like that was
War'n there on the horizon
Only 99 ballons

99 jet military planes
everyone was a large krieger
Held themselves for Captain Kirk
That gave large fireworks
The neighbours gerafft nothing
And felt equivalent put on
One shot on the horizon
On 99 ballons

99 war min kriegsminster
Match and gasoline can
Held themselves for smart people
Witterten already greases booty
Scoring: War and wanted power
Man, who would have that thought
That it comes once so far
Because of 99 ballons

99 years war
Left no workstation for winners
War Minister gibt's no more
And also no nozzle fliers
Today pull I mean rounds
Seh ' the world in rubble are situated
' ' nen ballon found
Think ' of you and let ' it fly
